Student-led Acquisition Advisory, at the University of Virginia

Beyond the Classroom. Into the Deal.

The Virginia Mergers and Acquisitions Group (VMAG) is a student-led undergraduate organization dedicated to providing experiential learning opportunities in mergers and acquisitions. We partner with firms to evaluate acquisition opportunities, strengthen diligence, and turn complex deal questions into clear, actionable recommendations.

Through real-firm engagements, structured technical training, and relationships with UVA alumni, faculty, and industry professionals, VMAG equips students with the analytical skills, transaction experience, and professional networks necessary to pursue careers in finance.
